I use a humanistic approach, understanding that each person has unique qualities and strengths. I like to help clients use these unique qualities and strengths to better understand themselves, their world, and how they can build confidence, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. No matter the struggles we face, no matter the pieces of ourselves that we wish to change, we are enough, and with the right help, we can overcome and persevere.

I got my start working in schools, teaching everything from kindergarten to middle school. When I was teaching 4th and 5th graders in Denver, I noticed a huge lack of mental health support for kids, so I went back to school to become a counselor. Even now, working as a high school counselor, I notice that these kids still lack critical support for their mental health, and Iām hoping to do everything I can to help fill that gap.
